A tough wee cookie!
Sadly, Paddy came into the centre as a stray alongside his brother Sorrel at the young age of 4 months. It was clear that Paddy had trouble walking and after a thorough veterinary examination, we found that he had a severe grade of patellar luxation (a condition where the kneecap pops in and out of groove). Paddy went through two surgeries on his knee, and he was a wee trooper, taking everything in his stride. Our only challenge was trying to keep him calm and still during his recovery!
Paddy will need on-going support for his knees, along with hydrotherapy he may need further surgery and pain management in the future. He was adopted in December 2024 and is now living the life he truly deserves!
