Pete – Big Heart, Blue Eyes, Boundless Energy!
Pete is a young and affectionate Old Tyme Bulldog who arrived as a stray, so we have limited information about his past. He is incredibly friendly with people and full of enthusiasm, sometimes a little too much, so he would be best suited to a home with older, dog savvy children. Pete can be reactive towards other dogs, so he would thrive as the only pet in the household. We’re unsure how he would be around cats. Pete keeps his kennel clean, suggesting he may be housetrained.
History
Pete came into the centre as a stray.
Re-homing Criteria
Pete is looking for an active home where he can burn off his energy and continue his training. A secure garden is essential to give him a safe space to play. His recall needs work and he can be very strong on the lead, so his adopter must be physically fit and able to handle him on walks. Due to his enthusiastic nature, Pete would be best suited to a home with older children that know how to interact respectfully with dogs. He can be reactive towards other dogs and would do best as the only pet in the household. If you have the time, space, and experience to give Pete the loving home he deserves, he could be the perfect companion for you!
