Big lovable lad that just needs a chance!
We believe that Monty is aged between 5 and 7 years old.
Poor Monty hasn’t had the best of starts, he came to us as a stray and is struggling with kennel life. He is a lovely dog in desperate need of TLC. Monty is very sweet-natured and just wants to be with you. As he is a large dog we can consider homes with children 12 years and up. Monty appears indifferent towards dogs passing on lead and has been really good playing off lead with the dogs we have introduced him to. Monty keeps his kennel spotlessly clean overnight suggesting he may have had some housetraining previously

Monty came into the centre as an unclaimed stray.
Re-homing Criteria
Our wonderful lad Monty is in desperate need of some love. Sadly he is always the bridesmaid and never the bride, he has seen a lot of his canine friends all get their happy endings while he still waits for his. Monty is looking for a home where he wont be left for long as he really does prefer to be with company! Monty is a big dog but has a lovely nature and is well-mannered so we can consider homes with children aged 12 years and up. Monty loves to be out in the paddock with his friends running about and having as much fun as he can. With gentle introductions at the centre he could possibly live with a well established female dog in the household ! Monty can be a little shy when meeting new people so we would ask that potential homes would be happy to come to the centre a few times to get to know this lad for the shining star he is ! As he came to us as a stray we unfortunately do not know his suitability with cats.
Monty is an absolute favourite of all the staff and volunteers , no one can understand why he is still with us ! This lovely boy just needs someone to give him a chance, we are sure he will make the most wonderful best friend.
