Wonderful, lovable Louie!
This handsome gent is the lovely Louie! He is a wonderful older lab who just loves to spend time with people. Louie came from an adult-only home, but due to his loving temperament, we can consider families with children. He's never lived with another dog and chooses to ignore the dogs at the centre, but if the match is right, we can consider homes with another dog of a similar age who will appreciate his company. We've been told that Louie has previously lived with cats. He has been house-trained and is a good boy in the car.
History
Louie was handed into the centre for rehoming due to a change in circumstances.
Re-homing Criteria
Louie is looking for a home where he will not be alone for extended periods of time. He can be left alone for a few hours for shopping, but he is used to having someone at home with him. Louie would benefit from having access to a secure garden to plod around in. If the match is right, we can consider homes with another dog and/or children. Louie had previously lived with cats, so could have a feline companion in his new home. Louie is an older boy, but he has the heart of a young goofy lab and will make his new family very happy! Louie's mobility isn't what it was, his mind is willing but his body is not! Due to this he is unable to be exercised for more than 20-30 minutes at a time and at a slow/steady pace. Louie does love to lie in the garden in the sun though, so a garden for him is a must.
