Koda: Adventure has four paws!
Koda is a small, lively Collie bursting with enthusiasm and energy. He’s always ready for an adventure and loves being out and about, although he can be quite strong on the lead due to his excitement. Koda enjoys human company and thrives on attention and affection—he’s happiest when he's with people and getting plenty of fuss. While he tends to ignore other dogs, we’re not sure how he would be around cats. This bright boy will benefit from an active home that can provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep him happy and fulfilled. He keeps his kennel clean, which suggests he may already be housetrained.
History
Koda came into the centre as a stray.
Re-homing Criteria
Koda is looking for an active, experienced family who understands the needs of a young and intelligent Collie. His enthusiastic nature means he may be best suited to a home with older children, as he can be a bit full-on in his excitement. He might live happily with another dog, following careful introductions. As he’s strong on the lead and always raring to go, Koda will benefit from ongoing training in loose-lead walking and recall. He’s likely housetrained but may need a little refresher in a new environment.
Koda would thrive in a home where he can join in on outdoor adventures like camping and hiking. He’s very clever and will need plenty of mental enrichment as well as physical exercise. As a sociable dog who loves company, Koda would prefer a home where someone is around most of the time
If you’re looking for a loyal, spirited companion who’s eager to share life’s adventures, Koda could be the one for you!
