History
Joy came to us as her owner had sadly passed away.
Re-homing Criteria
Joy is a gentle soul, but also a typical terrier at the same time. She can get possessive of people and material things like beds and toys, so someone who knows how to deal with those situations is a must. She's need a quiet household with one or two adults, but no children and not too many visitors. She is living in one of the offices at the moment and has become quite fussy on who she likes to visit, always letting us know when there is someone there! She is clean in her kennel and enjoys cuddling up in a cosy bed surrounded by soft toys. She seems ok around some dogs, we aren't sure about cats, but we feel she would rather be the only pet in the household. Joy would be happy to be left for short periods of time, so may suit someone working part time. If you are interested in Joy we would ask you to visit the centre a few times to allow Joy to get to know you before you took her home. Saying all of this, once she gets to know you she is an absolute pet who loves nothing more than a cuddle, a tummy rub and to chase a ball.
