A quiet, sensitive soul.
Jip is a 2yr old blue merle rough collie. He has had a complex past, and because of this he needs a quiet experienced home where he can settle in at his own pace.
History
Jip came to us after an inncodent with his previous owners.
Re-homing Criteria
Jip will need a calm, quiet home that will allow him to do things at his pace. Jip doesn't like too much going on around him, because of this he will need an adult only home with not too many visitors, and definitily no children.
Jip has nipped on numerous occasions, which has resulted in him having 4 homes, that we know about, in his very short life. These nips have usually occured when he has felt threatened or he has been in pain. He has NEVER shown this behaviour here at the centre.
Jip has been around other dogs, and living with another dog may be a possibility with the correct introductions. He do not know about what he is like with cats. Jip is mainly clean in his kennel, so we don't feel that housetraining will be an issue. A fully fenced garden of 5ft plus where Jip will feel secure is important.
We don't feel that Jip is a dangerous dog, he has however been in multiple situations that has made him extremely anxious resulting in him nipping. We will be more than happy to go through all of his history with anybody that feels they would be a good match for Jip, we have nothing to hide.
