Chip has found her happily ever after!
I just wanted to provide an update on Chip.
She is doing amazing. What a beautiful girl and we are so blessed to have her.
The issues we initially had with Skye being unsure and avoiding her are gone. I set the boundaries for Chip and she adhered to them all.
They are both playing together, tails wagging away. They run together in the fields next to us and have great fun and walk side by side on the lead checking on each other and the odd lick to each other.
Chip is eating better too. She is now overexcited when its food time instead of me trying to encourage her. And typical lab behaviour licking the other dogs bowls just incase any bits missed!!
She only comes up onto the furniture when invited now no matter what dogs are there.
She was introduced to my great nephew on Saturday. We kept both labs on lead as he is a baby. But they were both great with him and very well behaved. Just a short introduction for now so that Skye and Chip can slowly get used to him.
I have attached a picture from this morning where I turned round to check them while i was working. Too cute not to share.
