Charity Shops

Dumfries & Galloway Canine Rescue Centre Shops.
Dumfries & Galloway Canine Rescue Centre Shops.

Good quality, great value and a warm welcome await you at any of our five shops across the region.  Our shops sell a fantastic range of preloved goods including clothing, jewellery & accessories, books & media, household & electrical items, high quality bric-a-brac, toys & games.

Every shop has a team of very special and dedicated volunteers who take the time to make each shop that little bit different, so it's well worth taking the time to visit them all.

Our shops provide the bulk of our income, so when you shop in, donate or volunteer in one of our shops you are helping the dogs in our care get the forever homes they really need.

Donating

It's no mean feat to constantly re-fill the shelves and rails of our five shops with good quality, desirable items that delight our customers and keep them coming back.

If you're streamlining your wardrobe, making space in your kitchen cupboards or just have a couple of pairs of shoes you've never worn, please donate, we need your help to keep our shops brimming with brilliant things.

Our shops are also a drop off point for you to donate food, toys and bedding for the dogs in our care, as well as finding out more about the dogs looking for their forever homes.

Retail Volunteering

We have five charity shops across the region and we're always looking for volunteers to help.

There's always plenty to do in our shops with roles to suit everybody, including sorting clothes, helping customers, operating the till and fundraising.

If you have an eye for design you could try arranging the shop or a window display.

You don't need any special skills, and volunteering in one of our shops will enable you to meet lots of different people, be a valued member of a team and learn new skills.

If you're interested in applying for a role as one of our dedicated charity shop volunteers call in to any of our shops or contact the kennels on 01387 770210 for an application form.
