Tommy is an energetic boy who loves meeting new people. He can be a little timid in new situations as he has not known much other than farm life. Tommy has lived outdoors so is not yet house trained. At the moment we are helping him improve his body condition as he needs to put on some weight. Tommy has shared his kennel with another male dog, but he has been known to guard his food (most likely as he has felt he needs to compete for it with other dogs in the past). Tommy is affectionate but needs further training. He has met livestock and we are told he is not interested. This gorgeous boy has not been used to travelling in a car so can be sick. He is very affectionate and loves to run in the paddock.
Tommy's owner sadly passed away and family could no longer look after him.
Tommy needs a collie experienced owner who is able to help him get to grips with a home environment or ideally, a rural home with an appropriate outdoor kennel may suit him. Tommy needs a home without children. He can become very over stimulated and can be very mouthy so we feel he would suit an adult only home.
Cara wanted to let us all know how happy she is.
