Murphy is very people focused! He loves to be made a fuss of and as lived with children at one stage in his life who he got on well with. Murphy is house trained, and good in the car. This energetic youngster could do with some more training when out for walks as he doesn't have much recall training. Murphy is sociable with other dogs but may be a bit full on for some smaller dogs. He loves his home comforts and is very affectionate!
Due to ill health within the family, Murphy's owners could no longer commit to looking after him. He was adopted from the centre 6 months ago but unfortunately he got hold of a lamb and has been brought back for rehoming.
An active owner who is able to give him the exercise he requires. He needs a home there he will not come into contact with livestock, especially sheep!
Susie was 7 when her owner died in 2013. Happily she was adopted very quickly and here her new owners have kindly provided this lovely update
Using (but not abusing) a crate can be a useful and kind way of guiding your dog to more appropriate behaviour.
